It's official. This summer SUCKS! We did nothing for Fourth of July, I got sunburned at the pool when I wasn't even the one swimming, I've done nothing with my best friends even though we swore up and down that we WOULD get together and do something-ANYTHING-together, and I have less than a month to read Lord of the Flies and write up a report-thingy on that and Joy Luck Club. *deep breath* Spark Notes, anyone?

On the upside, I did go to see Ratatouille a few days ago, and it wasn't bad. It's actually really good, much better than I expected. And I realize that I should probably start reading Lord of the Flies right now, but I've heard some freaky shit about it, and the I really don't want to read about Piggy's skull cracking open and his brain spilling out right now.

On the downside, however, I have seen one hot guy this summer and he's got a great big huge crush on one of my friends. At least I have't seen Kyle XY. And I probably won't have any classes with him next year (PE's not co-ed after freshman year, there's no way HE would ever make it into Honors English or Advanced Algebra, I'm pretty sure he's already taken Chemisty, his brain probably couldn't keep up with Intro to Business, and I highly doubt he'd go within ten feet of Ceramics )...so...yay!!!

And does anybody know when Avatar is going to be back on??? 'Cause honestly, I'm getting tired of watching reruns. Zuko Alone is only sad the first time you watch it. After that, it's just boring. The only person who can pull emo off that well is Sasuke...and maybe Gaara...and Haku, Neji, Naruto, and Sakura.
